    Fluoridation of water that began in the USA back in the 1940s is continuing even today. Previously, it was thought that fluoride helped in maintaining healthy teeth. But soon it was proved to be a hoax . However, in spite of stiff resistance from the public, authorities are persistent in their aim to fluoridate the public water supply system. This is giving rise to mounting public indignation and opposition towards the anti-people government policy.   The U.S. government started the fluoridation of public water supply systems back in 1945.
